To meet these customer needs, DASAN Networks haslaunched V5816 GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) OLT system. V5816 is a compact GPON OLT system having 16 GPON ports and 4 uplink ports(10GE/1GE) & 4 uplink ports (Electrical GE), which provides FTTx service to the areas that have a low density of population or a small number of subscribers with less cost. V5816 meets carrier requirements for flexibility and reliability. V5816 supports the module-type power (AC/DC), 10Gigabit uplink ports(SFP+) and Gigabit uplink ports (Electrical GE), which ensures to apply in a variety of circumstances. And all access on Front(ETSI) based design 1U chassis, the small footprint solution as robust. Reliable operation and service are guaranteed through power redundancy, which prevents the system shutting down at the power-related failure.
